- Who has to use FBR digital invoicing?
- FBR states that electronic invoicing is mandatory for corporate and non-corporate sales-tax registered persons, and that digital invoices are required for the sales reported in Annexure-C of the sales tax return. Check the latest SROs with your tax adviser for your category.
- Is Nexariza AI a licensed FBR integrator?

- Do we have to replace our ERP or POS?

- What happens if the internet or the FBR system is down?
- FBR expects the Sales Tax Act and Rules to be followed in every situation. We build a queue that stores invoices safely, marks them, and submits them as soon as the connection returns, with alerts so nothing is missed.
- What is the penalty for not integrating?
- FBR’s guidance says businesses that do not integrate by the deadline are liable to penal action under section 33 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990. Confirm the current amounts with your tax adviser.
- How long does it take?
- A connector for one system typically takes one to four weeks, including data mapping, sandbox testing with the integrator and go-live. Several branches or systems take longer.
